Updates and Changes

Hey there friends, happy Saturday! Hope you’re all doing well and staying safe. This week I don’t have much of a post, but it’s more just an update and announcement.

When I initially started this blog, it was meant to be my author website. That quickly slipped away as I made it an all-purpose blog.

I’ll be honest, I’m not too happy about that. This was supposed to be a place I shared my writing as well as announcements for my work, not recipes and other silly things I might come up with. I do want to do those things, don’t get me wrong, but they shouldn’t be on my blog.

Additionally, I don’t want to write those things alone. I don’t want to create by myself. That’s why I’m incredibly excited to announce that Will and I will be launching a creative project together soon! We’re still ironing out all the details, but when we’re ready, we’ll make a more official announcement. This blog will continue to post once a week, don’t worry! I’ll have author spotlights, poetry spotlights, my reading challenge, and writing-related posts.

My goal with this is that, even though this is another project, I’ll actually have more time to work on my writing and editing. Quarantine has really messed me up in some ways, but it’s also inspired me in others. Will has wanted to jump into something creative for a very long time. We also, you know, live together, so it’s a great opportunity all around!
